Ohio’s Renewable Energy Types

Renewable energies are becoming more and more common in our lives.  As energy costs rise, we are looking for alternative ways to supplement and decrease our dependence on fossil fuels.  There are several of these renewable energies being developed and produced right here in Ohio.  However, there are also issues surrounding the production and use of these renewable energy sources.

 

Investigating the Issues

 

It is important for society to be well educated and informed about all of the issues surrounding these alternative energy sources.  High school students must also learn about these energies and the issues surrounding them, because they will soon be making important decisions of their own regard these sometimes controversial issues about renewable energies.

The resources found for the various energies below, will allow students to research and explore these issues and make their own conclusions based on evidence and a complete understanding of the production and use of Ohio’s renewable energies.
