Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy refers to using the heat of the earth to either generate electricity or heat and cool your house.  Since generating electricity from geothermal heat requires ground temperatures that are extremely high, such as areas with volcanic activity, we will focus on the other use of geothermal.  In most places, people use the constant heat from the earth to heat and cool their homes.  The video resources below explain how those systems work.
